KEITH MEACHAM

Keith Meacham is Jon Meacham’s wife. She grew up in Mississippi as the daughter of a farmer, received an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, and a Master's from Columbia University’s Teachers College. Meacham began her career as a classroom teacher and was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship in her early years. She went on to oversee the academic program at Prep for Prep in New York and served as director of the Harlem Prep Charter School. She then became Director at the NYC Fund for Public Schools where she led the funding drive for the Core Knowledge Early Literacy project. She also helped develop an app called Learn with Homer, a platform for young readers. She lives in Nashville with Jon and their three children.
